Benefiting the Melanoma International Foundation, the Albertson's Safe from the Sun(TM) Walkathon will be held in Seattle, Phoenix, and Philadelphia this year, all on May 6th, 2006. The Seattle event, originally in memory of Lesley Robinett, will include a 2 mile walk through the scenic Lake Sammamish State Park, a Kid's Dash, free skin cancer screenings and a Health Fair with focus on skin safety and skin cancer prevention. Help us set the Guiness World Record for the most number of people screened!

Dogwood Bracelet

Lesley Robinett loved dogwoods and this served as our inspiration for the 2005 Safe in the Shade bracelet. White freshwater pearls represent the delicate flower of the dogwood, with the red carnelian serving as a symbol of its summer berries. The 14K gold-filled tubes create branches, supporting dogwood flower Sterling silver beads.
100% of the net proceeds will be donated to the Melanoma International Foundation.
